Perch puts the buttons you actually use on the Home Screen, on the Lock Screen, in Control Center and behind a Siri phrase — so the app itself is something you can mostly leave closed.
Widgets, Control Center buttons, the Action button, Siri phrases and four quick actions on the icon. Set them up once, with or without a television nearby.
Type a search or a password on the phone and send the whole line at once, instead of hunting letters with arrow keys.
No account, no advertising, no analytics, no server of ours in the path. The only connection Perch opens by itself goes to your own television, on your own Wi‑Fi. The one exception is the three legal pages of this site, which open in a browser view when you tap them — and only then.
Demo Mode walks through every screen with sample data and no network activity at all, so you can judge the app before pairing anything.
Works with Roku® streaming players and Roku TV™ models on the same Wi‑Fi network as the iPhone. No other brand is supported, and an iPhone cannot drive infrared-only equipment.
